Thoughts to Ponder

The on-going war in Iraq and possible pre-emptive war in Iran is on everyone's mind. For those who lost friends or relatives in Iraq—as many people have—the grief can be overwhelming. I personally want to send my deepest sympathies to everyone impacted by this unprecedented war.

We Are ALL connected...

The unexpectedness of 9/11 and subsequent pre-emptive war in Iraq has left people feeling helpless and
vulnerable. Other than donating money, many wonder what else they can do to help the victims. There is something you can do.

There are opportunities to remember who we truly are as humans from every experience. This truly is one
planet, one globe--and one country's disaster or loss affects all of us.

With that in mind, I encourage you to send messages of love, warmth, and healing to the people of Iraq and Iran and all those around the world who experienced a loss or others who believe war is the path to peace. Whether it's through prayer, meditation, or some other form of spirituality, your good thoughts and well-wishes will create a powerful positive energy that will resonate throughout the world.

With deepest compassion, I wish you well. Peace and Love, Dorothy Several people requested a repeat of last month’s Thoughts to Ponder due to the seriousness and gravity of the on-going war in Iraq and possible pre-emptive war in Iran. I welcome your feedback and will honor your requests when I receive them. Please feel free to request article topics, send Thoughts to Ponder or Quotes.

Thoughts to Ponder

When you know that what you're doing is right, nothing will be able to stop you. When you are absolutely convinced of the true value of your efforts, you'll have the courage and the persistence to see them through. To believe in what you're doing is not just important. It is everything.

Anything less cannot possibly succeed. For any accomplishments you reach while living a lie will ultimately be of no value.

It is not always easy to live true to your highest values, true to your authentic self, true to what you know is right. Yet it is always your best choice.

When you deny what you know is right in order to follow the expediency of the moment, the benefits you gain are trivial and fleeting. Choose instead to live each moment true to the highest values you know.

Then, who you become will be the fulfillment of who you truly are. Why would you ever want to be anything less? —Ralph Marston
